Global Sisterhood Project - The Other Side Intercultural Theatre -  for $2,000. 
The Other Side Global Sisterhood Project brings together girls aged 8-15 from 
Harlem Village Academy (HVA) in West Harlem, and Bhagwathi Sarla Paliwal Education
Society (BSP) in rural India. Led by experienced Teaching Artists, and using devised theatre
and storytelling techniques, participating girls create dramatic pieces, exploring what it means to be
a girl in the context of their own community and culture. 

The Clapback - Funny Asian Women’s Collective - for $2,000. 
The Clapback is a two-day workshop that will introduce Asian-Asian American Diasporic women
and girls to the idea of using comedy to combat or “clap back” at micro-aggressive behaviors. FAWK
 and local artists will facilitate participatory workshops on America’s complex history with race¨
 social justice¨ empowerment¨ comedy¨ writing and performance.
 
Training in Water Use – Mekong Delta, Vietnam - Weaving Bond Across Borders - for $2,000. 
Weaving Bonds will collaborate with local youth group in Can Tho University in organizing the gender
perspective approaches in water use.

Women Composers of Hartford - for $2,000. The three-day 2018 WCFH will feature works, new and old, composed by
female composers, known and yet-to-be-discovered, as well as academic presentations and recitals to further the impact and widen the reach of women-composed music.
