Open Meadows Foundation is an organization that is run solely by volunteers.

What We Fund
Open Meadows Foundation is a grant-making organization for projects that are led by and benefit women and girls, particularly those from vulnerable communities. Our funding priority is encouraging leadership in women and/or girls. We do not fund organizations or projects in which women and girls are not the primary leaders and implementers.
What We Do Not Fund
1. Individuals
2. Scholarships/internships/fellowships
3. Endowments, loans, capital campaigns
4. Religious and/or faith-based institutions or programs that include religious activities
5. Research
6. For-profit businesses
7. Public or private educational institutions
8. Local, state, and national governmental agencies
9. Events that will have happened before the letter deadline of the cycle (seeCalendar)1
10. General operating expenses (proposals must be project-specific)
11. Film and video projects will be considered only after the film/video is complete.
12. Organizations with a total income greater than or equal to $75,000
